Pianist Sergey Belyavskiy studies at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory with Elisso Virsaladze. Sergey Belyavskiy has taken part in masterclasses with among others Van Cliburn, Andrzej Jasinski, Leslie Howard, Vladimir Krainev, and Boris Petrushansky. He has won a large number of prizes, including the Second Prize from the Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona in 2014. He previously won the First Prize at the International Vladimir Krainev Competition, and he was also a prize winner at the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest. Sergey Belyavskiy has been a soloist with renowned orchestras, such as the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra and the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in Europe, Asia, and the United States in major concert halls such as New York’s Carnegie Hall and Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Hall. He now has three CDs to his name, one with works by Liszt.
