Only in 1999 was it first performed at the Mariinsky Theatre, but since it has become a core part of the company’s repertoire . The performance in this broadcast was filmed at the Mariinsky Theatre and features many of its best-known dancers, including Ulyana Lopatkina, Igor Zelensky and Andrian Fadeyev.
