Menahem Pressler, born in 1923, is the last representative of a pianistic tradition directly connected with the great French and German piano schools. For more than 50 years, Pressler was the driving force of the legendary Beaux Arts Trio. When the ensemble broke up in 2008, Pressler returned to a solo career. He received numerous honors and awards.
