With Susanna Rigacci (soprano), Gilda Buttà (piano), Ulrich Herkenhoff (pan flute), Henry Raudales (solo violin), Norbert Merkl (solo viola), the Bavarian Radio Chorus and the Munich Radio Orchestra. Ennio Morricone, born in Rome in 1928, is one of the most important composers of film music. He has been awarded numerous prizes. In 2007 he received an Oscar for lifetime achievement, in 2016 the Oscar for the music for Quentin Tarantino's "The Hateful Eight". Morricone has written the music for over 500 films, including "C'era una volta il West" (Once Upon a Time in the West), "Cinema Paradiso" and "La leggenda del pianista sull'oceano" (The Legend of 1900).
