Paavo Järvi conducts the Orchestre de Paris and pianist Nicholas Angelich in a Brahms program that includes the “Akademische Festouvertüre,” which was composed on the occasion of receiving an honorary doctorate from the University of Breslau, and the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1. Featured soloist Nicholas Angelich was lauded by the Huffington Post as “one of the greatest living interpreters of Brahms”. This concert was recorded at the Salle Pleyel, Paris, in 2014.
