This is followed by Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2, which features Alexander Toradze on piano. The evening concludes with an airing of Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt suite, originally composed for Henrik Ibsen’s 1867 play of the same name.
