Over the past seventy years, the Borodin Quartet has built an acclaimed name in the genre of chamber music, known for its insight and authority in repertoire. Revered for its searching performances of Beethoven and Shostakovich, the Quartet is equally at home in music ranging from Mozart to Stravinsky. This performance was their contribution to the 2002 edition of the acclaimed Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival in Kuhmo, Finland.
