Chamber Music Concert - Handel, Mozart and Corelli

English conductor Paul Goodwin leads Camerata Fundación EDP of the Escuela Reina Sofía in a chamber music concert featuring works of George Frideric Handel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Arcangelo Corelli. The program opens with Handel’s Concerto for orchestra in F major, HWV 331. Second on the program is Mozart’s Exsultate, jubilate in F major, K. 165, with soprano Annya Pinto as featured soloist. The concert continues with Arcangelo Corelli’s Concerto grosso Op. 6 No. 8, ‘Fatto per la Notte di Natale’. Next are pastoral symphony ‘Pifa’ and the aria ‘Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion’, both from Handel’s oratorio Messiah, HWV 56. Mozart’s Symphony No. 17 in G major, K. 129 rounds off this concert, which was recorded at Auditorio Sony of the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, Spain, on December 15, 2021.
