As part of the ‘Solistas del Siglo XXI’ series of the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, pianist Nicolas Bourdoncle (France, 1998) performs Frédéric Chopin’s Nocturne in C-sharp minor, Op. 27 No. 1; Chopin’s Piano Sonata in B-flat minor, Op. 35; Toccata from Claude Debussy’s suite Pour le piano; Almería (Book II) from Isaac Albéniz’s Iberia, T 105; Scarbo from Maurice Ravel’s Gaspard de la nuit; and Enrique Granados’s El Pelele. This performance was recorded at Auditorio Sony of the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, Spain, on May 28, 2022.
