This concert is part of the Da Camera Concert Series and features work from Franz Schubert's String Quartet D 810 'Der Tod und das Mädchen' and Antonin Dvorák's String Quartet No. 13, op. 106. The first quartet is performed by the Barbican String Quartet, consisting of Amarins Wierdsma (violin), Timothy Crawford (violin), Christoph Slenczka (viola) and Yoanna Prodanova (cello). The second quartet is perfomed by the Quatuor Tchalik, consisting of Gabriel Tchalik (violin), Louise Tchalik (violin), Sarah Tchalik (viola) and Marc Tchalik (cello). Recorded at the Auditorio Sony, Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid in 2019.
