Classical Halloween

Enjoy a selection of haunting pieces of music on Friday, October 31 at 21:00, such as the impressive ‘Dies Irae’ from Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem; the ‘Songe d’une nuit de Sabbat’ (Dream of a Night of the Sabbath) with its sinister atmosphere, coming from Hector Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique; and the iconic Funeral March from Frédéric Chopin’s Piano Sonata No. 2, which has been heard at funerals the world over, including Chopin’s own.
