Concours musical international de Montréal - Finals

Stingray Classica continues its series of broadcasts from the Piano Edition of the Concours musical international de Montréal 2021 (CMIM) on Tuesday evenings throughout January. From April 26 to May 14, 2021, twenty-seven of the world’s finest young pianists took part in the nineteenth edition of the CMIM, which was organized online and recorded in over a dozen cities worldwide. The twenty-seven pianists compete in two rounds. Out of the semi-final, eight competitors perform a final round recital.


CMIM Piano 2021 - Final: Francesco Granata

This performance was recorded at the Sala Grande of Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Italy.

Bach’s Overture in the French Style, BWV 831, Allegro energico, Spring Thaw, and Off-beat Waltz from John Burge’s Twenty-Four Preludes, Les fées sont d'exquises danseuses, Ondine, Minstrels, and Feux d'artifice from Claude Debussy’s Préludes, Books I and II, L. 125 and 131, and Samuel Barber’s Sonata in E-flat minor, Op. 26, during the finals of the 2021 Piano Edition of the Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM).
