Concours musical international de Montréal: Semi-finals
Tuesdays in January
Founded in 2002, the annual Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM) draws thousands of spectators to concert halls, as well as listeners on the radio and online. The competition seeks to discover and support musicians who demonstrate exceptional mastery of their art. It’s the only annual international competition in North America to present three disciplines (voice, violin, piano) in a three-year rotation. In January, Stingray Classica broadcasts 12 semi-final performances, featuring young and talented singers in a wide variety of opera arias and Lieder.
