International Vocal Competition 2016

This September, Stingray Classica continues its series of broadcasts from the 51st edition of the annual International Vocal Competition (IVC) in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. On Tuesday, September 6 and 13 at 21:00 CEST, Stingray Classica presents the final rounds of the renowned competition. Edition 2016 was a Lied Duo competition, which alternates yearly with the IVC’s Opera | Oratorio competition. In September 2016, 18 talented vocalists and their accompanists took part in the Lied Duo competition, nine of whom reached the semi-finals. Four of them performed in a final round. Each of their performances was recorded before a spell-bound audience at the Great Church in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
